Eugene Eder

Mr. Eugene "Frankie" Eder, 56, of Capeville, Virginia passed away Thursday, February 7, 2008 at Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox. A native of Machipongo, he was the son of the late Edward Earl Eder, Sr. and the late Nellie Brown Eder. He was a security officer for Bay Creek. Mr. Eder was raised by the late Calvin Lee "Baby" Eder and the late Charlotte Marie Eder. He is survived by his companion of 24 years, Pamela Jones; four children, Cassandra Eder of Capeville, Va., Brian Eder of Salisbury, Md., Joesette Lewis of Weirwood, Va., Juliette Hill of Melfa, Va.; six brothers and sisters, Edward E. Eder, Jr. and James S. Eder both of Cheriton, Debbie Marshall of Machipongo, Va., David Eder of Eastville, Va., Delores Eder of Georgia, Barry Eder of Oklahoma and eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert "Bobby" Eder and a sister, Sandra Marshall. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 11, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. from the graveside of Cape Charles Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Charles Peterson officiating.
