Ethel Barcroft

Mrs. Ethel Oakley Barcroft, 66, wife of James M. Barcroft of Seaview, Va, passed away at her residence on Sunday, May 1,2005. A native of Johnsontown, Va, she was the daughter of the late William E. Oakley and the late Caroline Moore Oakley. She was a member of Travis Chapel United Methodist Church, past member of the Cape Charles Rescue Service, and was retired from Delmarva Power and Light Company. Other than her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Judy L. Barcroft of Nassawadox, Va.; three sisters, Margaret Westfall of San Diego, CA, Annie Brady of Cheriton, Va, and Carrie Dryden of Nassawadox, Va; one grandson, Christopher James Barcroft of Seaview, Va. Mrs. Barcroft was predeceased by a son, James Ernest Barcroft. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at 2:00pm from the Cape Charles cemetery with the Rev.
