Mrs. Estelle Hundley Collins of Cape Charles, wife of the late Hubert L. Collins and the late William T. Ward, Sr., passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox. A native of Chesconnessex, Va., she was the daughter of the late Ed Hundley and the late Rachael Johnson Hundley. She retired from Bank of America and was a member of Cape Charles Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Ward Simpson and her husband Earl of Exmore, Va., Violet Miller of Jacksonville, Fla.; a son, William T. Ward, Jr. and his wife Marie of Cape Charles, Va.; a step-daughter, Faye Collins Sandsburg of Onancock, Va.; ten grandchildren, Deborah Kellam of Painter, Va., Grover Showard and his wife Debra of Cape Charles, Jackie Taylor and her husband Curtis of Keller, Va., Donnie Brittingham and his wife Jan of Belle Haven, Va., Teresa Kellam and her husband Richie of Painter, Jimmy Brittingham of Belle Haven, Lisa Milligan and her husband George of Jacksonville, Fla., Karen Rasmussen and her husband Jack also of Jacksonville, Billy Ward of Virginia Beach, Va., Ronnie Ward and his wife Rosemary of Chesapeake, Va.; 14 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Betty Ward Brittingham, a great grandson, Lee Mears, and a step-son, Kenneth L. Collins Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the Cape Charles Baptist Church with the Rev. Russell Goodrich officiating. Interment will follow in the Cape Charles Cemetery. Family will join friends Friday evening at the Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home in Cape Charles from 7 to 8:30.
