Ervin H. Bowen

Mr. Ervin H. Bowen, 95, of Nassawadox, formerly of Exmore, passed away Friday, October 28, 2005 at Shore Memorial Hospital. A native of Hog Island, Virginia, he was the son of the late Eli Bartine Bowen and the late Gracie Robbins Bowen. He was a retired waterman and a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. Mr. Bowen is survived by a son, Alton H. Bowen and his wife Joyce of Exmore, Va.; two grandchildren, Michelle Bowen of Exmore and Jennifer Bowen of Washington, D.C.; three great grandchildren, Marcus and Malissa Watterson of Exmore and Micah Watterson of New York, N.Y. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, October 30, 2005 at 2:00 PM from the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with the Rev. Tammy Estep officiating.
