Ellyn Downing Frost

Ellyn Downing Smith Frost of Capeville, Va., and Frostproof, Fl.,went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 4, 2011. Ellyn is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Willard "Bill" Frost; her daughter, Tracy Azile Smith, of Townsend, Va.; and son, Timothy Allen Smith of Capeville, Va.,along with his wife Kim and their children, Nicholas and Makayla Smith and Kyle Vantassel. Ellyn is survived also by her brother, B. B. Barry Downing, Jr., his wife, Kay; brother-in-law Frank Williams; niece, Laura Williams Saunders and husband Chris; nephews Bryan Williams and wife Tawny; Lawrence Nottingham, II, and wife Marijana; and Barron Downing, III, and wife, Virginia; numerous cousins, her pet cat, Grace; and other creatures of God too numerous to name. She is predeceased by parents, Azile Travis Downing and B. B. "Bip" Downing; and her sister, Nancy Downing Williams. She was a member of Cheriton U. M. Church as well as an associate member of Frostproof U. M. Church. With Ellyn's passing, NASCAR #48 has lost a devoted fan. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Cheriton United Methodist Church with the Reverend Lynda Moore and Mr. Barry Downing officiating.
