Ellen Lewis (View Video Tribute) Moore

Ellen Lewis Moore, 66, wife of the late Neil Moore and the late Robert Lewis and a resident of Capeville, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2009 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Mrs. Moore was born in Deep Creek, Va and reared in Cape Charles. She was the daughter of the late Roland and Ola Evans Grey. She was a home health nurse and member of the Cape Charles Baptist Church. She is survived by four daughters, Bobette Price and her husband Bubba of Cape Charles, Laura Coffey and her husband Jesse of Carneys Point, NJ, Thelma Baum of Cape Charles, Robin Orsinger of Cheriton, and a son Robert "Bubba" Lewis of Cape Charles, a sister, Thelma G. Cropper and her husband Lew Carroll of Nassawadox, 18 grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren. Mrs. Moore was predeceased by a daughter, Cynthia Lewis Goodrich, five brothers, Morris, Woodlyn, Carl, Robert and Roy Grey, and a sister, Ann Budd. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 2:00 PM from the graveside of Cape Charles Cemetery with the Rev. Jonathan Carpenter officiating. Family will join friends Wednesday evening in Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 PM.
