Elizabeth Whitman

Elizabeth Walta Whitman, a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025. 

A native of Petersburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Edward Frank Walta and the late Amelia Gaidowski Walta. She retired from Titmus Optical.

 She was predeceased by her husband, Luther Irving Whitman. She is survived by several stepchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 9, 2025, at 3:00 PM, at Doughty Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Muender officiating. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment will be at South Lawn Memorial Park, Petersburg, VA, on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 12:00 PM.
