Elizabeth Ann (View Video Tribute) Martin

Elizabeth Ann Martin, 50, better known as "Miss Liz" of Belle Haven, VA, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital. A native of Wilmington, DE, she is the daughter of the late James Pierre and Margaret Price Walsh. Liz was a graduate of Ursuline Academy in Wilmington, DE. Survivors include a daughter, Kristi L. Martin and her companion Todd Wessells of Melfa, three sisters, Pam Basara and her husband Ron of Newark, DE, Audrey Coburn and her husband Doug of Eastville, VA, and Karen McCarter of Onley, VA; two brothers, Pete Walsh and his wife Jan of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Mark Walsh of Belle Haven, VA; a grandson, Noah Wessells, 12 nieces and nephews, 16 great nieces and great nephews. Ms. Martin was predeceased by three brothers, Billy, Ned and Kevin Walsh. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, December 21, 2009 at 4:00 PM at the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with the Rev. Judy Worthington officiating. Family will join friends at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the service.
