Elizabeth Anne Fanning, 78, of wife of Joseph D. Fanning and a resident of Nassawadox, VA, formerly of Chincoteague, passed away Monday, December 07, 2015, at her residence. A native of Berwyn, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph McKeown and the late Elizabeth DeHaven McKeown. She was a retired school teacher.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Deborah Kelley of Yulle, FL; two grandchildren, Makayla Lewis and Michael Fanning, both of Weirwood, VA.
To honor her request no public service will be held. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army, Tidewater Area Command, 5525 Raby Road, Norfolk, VA 23502.
