Elizabeth Turner Byrd

Mrs. Elizabeth Turner Byrd, 95, wife of the late Charles Lilliston Byrd, Jr. and a resident of Arcardia Nursing Center passed away Tuesday July 19, 2005. Formerly of Exmore, Mrs. Byrd was the daughter of the late James Edward Turner and the late Alberta Ashby Turner. She was a member of Belle Haven United Methodist Church. Mrs. Byrd is survived by three daughters; Mary Elizabeth Croom of Exmore, Va., Jean Page Steelman and her husband David of Accomac, Va. and Nancy B. Brown and her husband Andrew of Bronston, Ky., twelve grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren. Mrs. Byrd was predeceased by a daughter, Peggy Byrd, two brothers, J. Ashby Turner and George William Turner and a sister, Mary Turner Boggs. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday July 21, 2005 at 3:00 PM at Belle Haven United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Schoeman and Mr. Jeff Conrow officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Haven Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Byrd may be made to Belle Haven United Methodist Church, c/o David Elliott, P.O.
