Elizabeth Fowler Turner Baker Born October 14, 1912, died March 1, 2006. She is survived by one sister, Rose Floyd Duffy of Ft. Pierce, Florida; two sons, James Kellam Turner, Jr. (Chris) of Chesterfield, Virginia and George Fowler Turner, Sr. (Doris), of Sandersville, Georgia; seven grandchildren, Cathy Lynn Thomas (Brian), James Kellam Turner, III (Marie), Robert Edward Turner, Nancy Elizabeth Inman (Billy), George Fowler Turner, Jr. (Lisa), Lorraine Doris Weissinger (Rich), Curtis Lee Turner (Jeannette) as well as 16 great-grandchildren; a special cousin, Thomas E. Beloat; former daughter-in-law, Cathy W. Turner. She was preceded in death by her father, George A. Fowler and her mother, Rose Fowler, her first husband, James Kellam Turner, Sr. who was killed in World War II and her second husband, Robert Ross Baker as well as three brothers, Ambrose Fowler, Ralph Fowler, Hoel Fowler; a great-grandson Travis Turner age 13 missing in a boating accident and presumed deceased. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, March 5, 2006 at Red Bank Baptist Church, 9202 Seaside Rd, Marionville, VA. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
