Elizabeth Collins Allen

Mrs. Elizabeth Collins Allen better known as "Gram", 90, wife of the late Charles W. Collins and the late Heywood Allen and a resident of Cheriton passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at her home. A native of Scranton, Pa. she was the daughter of the late Irving C. Miller and the late Margaret Brown Miller. She was a Librarian at the Northampton Memorial Library in Cape Charles. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. She is survived by six children, Charles W. Collins of Ft. Myers, Fla., Marge C. Powell of Cheriton, Va., Thomas M. Collins and his wife Betty of Machipongo, Va., Frank X. Collins and his wife Joyce of Magotha, Va., Paul D. Collins of LaSerena, Chile, and Nancy Allen Mears and her husband Tom of Princess Anne, Md.; two sisters, Jane Ferguson of Scranton, Pa., Clare Walsh of Mclean, Va.; twenty grandchilden and several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Miller and a sister Marian Roche. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 14, 2006 at 10:00 AM from the Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home in Cape Charles with Father J. Michael Breslin officiating.
