Elestine Pruitt Ward

Elestine Pruitt Ward, 100, wife of the late Marvin Ward and a resident of Accomac, VA, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Tangier, VA, she was the daughter of the late MacKenny Crockett and the late Gertrude Parks Crockett. She retired from Dulany Foods in Exmore, VA and Mrs. Paul's Kitchen in Crisfield, MD. Mrs. Ward is survived by three children, Janet Lee Turner and her husband, Bryan, of Onancock, VA, Kenneth Allen Pruitt of Richmond, VA, Dee Bradshaw Manning of Hacks Neck, VA; three grandchildren, Barry Gibbons, Michael Bradshaw, USGC, and Jonathan Manning; two great-grandchildren, Suzette and Garry Gibbons; two great-great-grandchildren, Miranda and Cailee Gibbons. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 8, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Drummondtown United Methodist Church in Accomac with the Rev. Betty D. Marshall officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Haven Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be sent to Drummondtown United Methodist Church, P. O.
