Edward Arthur Reynolds, Jr., 80, husband of Kay Ford-Cornwell Reynolds and a resident of Cheriton, VA, passed away Friday, May 26, 2017, at his residence. A native of Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Edward A. Reynolds, Sr. and the late Dorothy E. Fisher Reynolds. Edward grew up in Oyster, VA, graduated from Northampton High School and loved fishing, working and playing on the waters surrounding the beautiful Eastern Shore. He retired after 50 years of working in Northern Virginia as a construction supervisor.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by four children, Edward Reynolds III and his wife, Lacey, of Bristow, VA, Randy Cornwell and his wife, Lisa, of Woodbridge, VA, Lisa Brasch of Smith Beach, VA, Mary Anne Mosser of Smith Beach; four grandchildren, Scott Cornwell of Colonial Beach, VA, Sean Brasch of Richmond, VA, Lane Reynolds of Bristow, Darbi Reynolds of Bristow; and three great grandchildren, Charlie Brasch of Richmond, Michael Clarke of Woodbridge and Paisley Cornwell of Colonial Beach. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Reynolds.
To honor his request no public services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
