Edward Stephen Needham

Mr. Edward Stephen Needham, 71, husband of Diane Harkness Needham and a resident of Machipongo, Virginia passed away Sunday, November 12, 2006 at Shore Memorial Hospital. He was the son of the late James Needham and the late Susan Roberts Needham. He was a retired electrician and former Board Member for IBEW Local # 351 with 50 years of service and worked many years for Calvi Electric Company in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He was an Army National Guard Veteran and a member of Verona Lanes Bowling League. Other than his wife, he is survived by three children, Debbie Friel of Galloway, N.J., D. Susan Hiller of Florham Park, N.J., Edward J. Needham of Absecon, N.J., eight grandchildren, James Conover, Jr., Christina & Matthew Friel, and Charlene Pofi-Montalvo, Ashley and Alexis Hiller, Kyle and Carly Needham and one great granddaughter, Alyssa Montalvo. He was predeceased by his first wife, Dolly H. Needham. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 17th at 1:00 PM from the Parsel's Funeral Home in Absecon, N.J. with the Rev. Heather Stenberg officiating. Interment will follow in Laurel Memorial Park, Pomona, N.J. Family will join friends one hour prior to the service.
