Edward Lee (View Video Tribute) Lafferty

Edward Lee Lafferty, 79, of Cape Charles, died Monday, November 16, 2009 at the Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital. A native of Cheriton, he was the son of the late Grover L. and Elizabeth Hamblin Lafferty. He is survived by six sisters, Mary L. Bennett of Cheriton, VA, Barbara L. Dickerson of Jamesville, VA, Charlotte L. Whitman & her husband George of Machipongo, VA, Abbie L. Borum and her husband Larry of Orlando, FL, Colleen L. Makin and Betty Jo Petty and her husband Bill, all of Dover, DE; two brothers, Frank L. Lafferty and his wife Mary of Assawoman, VA and Grover L. Lafferty, Jr. and his wife Beth of Bloxom, VA; several nieces and nephews and his devoted cat, Boots. Mr. Lafferty was predeceased by a brother, Bart Lafferty. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the graveside of Cape Charles Cemetery with the Rev. Randy E. Lewis officiating.
