Edward Earl Eder, Jr.

Edward Earl Eder, Jr., better known as Eddie, 65, husband of Tish Webb Eder and a resident of Cheriton, VA, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2014 at his residence. A native of Machipongo, VA, he was the son of the late Edward Earl Eder, Sr. and the late Nellie Brown Eder. He was a U. S. Army veteran having served in Vietnam and a member of Exmore Moose Lodge #683. In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children, Edward E. Eder, III and his wife, Donna, of Onley, VA, Danielle Eder of Painter, VA, Dawn M. Eder of Johnsontown, VA, Eric Eder of Cape Charles, VA, Laura Eder of Parksley, VA; a sister, Deborah Eder Marshall of Machipongo; a brother, James Stewart Eder of Melfa, VA; 23 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Eder was predeceased by a sister, Sandra Eder Marshall and two brothers, Robert L. Eder and Eugene Francis "Frankie" Eder. A graveside service will be held Sunday, January 12, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Red Bank Cemetery in Marionville with Rev. Jeff Conrow officiating. Family will join friends at the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore Saturday evening from 7:00 to 8:30. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be sent to Riverside Shore Cancer Center, P. O.
