Edward Earl Brady, Sr., 78, husband of Gloria Costin Brady and a resident of Townsend, VA, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Northampton County, Virginia, he was the son of the late Burleigh Brady and the late Fannie Moore Brady. He was a retired commercial fisherman. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Edward Earl Brady, Jr. and his wife, Patty, of Cheriton, VA, Patricia Brady Bailey and her husband, Ronnie, of Seaview, VA; four grandchildren, Timmy "Buddy" Brady of Townsend, Taryn Bailey of Virginia Beach, VA, April Finnigan and her husband, Patrick, of Houston, TX, Ian Brady of Nassawadox and two great grandchildren, Kaylei Brady of Cheriton and Aubree Brady of Nassawadox. A graveside service will be conducted Sunday, July 20, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Capeville Masonic Cemetery with Reverends Elizabeth Lutz and Jeff Conrow officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Riverside Shore Cancer Center, P. O. Box 17, Nassawadox, VA 23413.
