Mrs. Edna Margaret Miles, 88, wife of the late James Willard Miles and a resident of New Church, died Friday, Feb. 2, 2007, at Heritage Hall Health Care in Nassawadox. A native of Pocomoke, she was the daughter of the late Russell Small and the late Minnie Justis Small. Mrs. Miles was a member of the Pittsville United Methodist Church in Miona and was a member of the United Methodist Women. One of her proudest accomplishments was being a 42-year cancer survivor. Mrs. Miles is survived by two daughters, Peggy Miles Belote and her husband, Butch of Painter, Va. and Winnie Miles and her partner, Carolyn Allen of Quincy, Fl., four grandchildren, Kara Perry and her husband Chris of Painter, Kevin Justice and his wife Cris Machin of Salisbury, Md., Gary Justice and his wife Karen of Frankford, De., and Todd Justice and his wife Cathy of Salisbury, Md., five great grandchildren, Ariana, Rachel, Rebecca, Hailey and Nicholas, a very special caregiver, Linda Smaw and her extended family at Heritage Hall. Mrs. Miles was predeceased by a son, Wilson Justice. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday Feb. 6, 2007, at 11:00 am from the Doughty Funeral Home with Pastor Jennifer Tolbert officiating.
