Edna May Eder

Edna May Eder, 75, wife of Lawrence M. Eder and a resident of Townsend, VA, passed away suddenly Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Townsend, she was the daughter of the late Percy Elliott and the late Susie Belote Elliott She was a care taker and member of Full Gospel Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Robin Lynn Parks of Bridgeport, WV; two sisters, Shirley Rose of Mineral, VA, Janet Barrett of Colorado; three brothers, John Elliott of Florida, Percy Elliott of Delaware, Boyce Elliott of Maryland; and three grandsons. She was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah Parks Goffigon and two sisters, Henrietta Rodgers Friar and Maxine Kellam. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 24, 2012, at 2:00 pm at Full Gospel Church with Reverend Randy Lewis officiating. Interment will be private. Family will join friends at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Northampton County Social Service Christmas Fund, P.O. Box 568, Eastville, VA 23347.
