Edmund Freeman Chew Jr., 78, husband of Patricia Lauer Chew and a resident of Haddon Heights, NJ, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at his Eastern Shore of Virginia residence. A native of Haddonfield, NJ, he was the son of the late Edmund F. and Margaret Marsteller Chew. A US Air Force veteran, he attended Lehigh University and graduated from the University of the Philippines. He was the retired owner of Perfect Paint and Equipment Company and a former member of SCORE of the Small Business Association. Other than his wife, he is survived by three sons, Edmund F. Chew III and his wife, Marilyn, of Longboat Key, FL, J. Daniel Chew of Paulsboro, NJ, and Lt. Col. USAF Christopher L. Chew, presently stationed in Turkey; two grandchildren, Jennifer L. Caldwell and her husband, Andrew, of Orlando, FL, Steven E. Chew and his wife, Katherine, of Wesley Chapel, FL; and a great-grandson, Tyler E. Chew of Wesley Chapel.
