Edith Pearl Costin

Edith Pearl Costin, 60, of Townsend passed away Monday, April 18, 2005 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Nassawadox. A native of Kiptopeke, she is the daughter of Pearl Skidmore Costin of Townsend, Va. and the late Eldred Costin. Miss Costin was retired from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. She was a member and Past Clerk of the Lower Northampton Baptist Church. Other than her mother, survivors include one sister, Gloria C. Brady and husband Edward Earl of Townsend, Va., one brother, E.A. "Sonny" Costin and wife Jean of Eastville,Va., one niece, Patty B. Bailey of Seaview, Va., two nephews, Richard A. Costin of Cedar Grove, Va., Edward E. Brady, Jr. of Eastville, Va., and several great nieces and newphews. A Funeral Service will be conducted Thursday, April 23, 2005 at 2:00 PM from the Lower Northampton Baptist Church with the Rev. Rick Kesterson, Rev. Nathan Decker, and Mr. Kemmie Dize officiating.
