Mrs. Edith Bloxom Bundick, 90, wife of the late James E. Bundick and a resident of Quinby, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2008 at her residence. A native of Willis Wharf, she was the daughter of the late Charles Herbert Bloxom and the late Geneva Colonna Bloxom. She retired from Dulany Frozen Foods in Exmore. She was a very active member of Smith's Chapel United Methodist Church, where she sang in the church choir, taught Sunday School, was a member of the Amanda Mears Circle and the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Accomack Women's Club in Onley. She is survived by a son, Jimmy Bundick and his wife Pat of Quinby, Va.; a sister, Thelma Savage of Indianapolis, IN; three grandchildren, Gail B. Charrier and her husband John of Salisbury, Md., Danny Bundick of Belle Haven, Va., Brook B. Duer and her husband Pete of Quinby, Va.; five great grandchildren, Taylor and Ryan Harrison, Fallon and Afton Bundick, and Luke Duer. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 17, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the Smith's Chapel United Methodist Church in Quinby with Pastor Thomas E. Durrance officiating. Interment will follow in the Quinby Cemetery. Family will join friends at the Doughty Funeral Home Saturday evening from 7 to 8:30.
