Earl Huffman

Earl Huffman, 75, husband of Patricia (Pat) Downing Huffman for 23 years and a resident of Exmore, VA, went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, December 9, 2015. He was born May 27, 1940 and raised in Craddockville where he had to quit school in the 3rd grade to work on Levin Johnson's farm. Later he was employed by Outten Truck Stop, Callahan's Service Station, Belle Haven Service Station, and Highway Texico in Onley until he retired due to his health.

Mr. Huffman was an avid Dallas Cowboys, Baltimore Orioles and Dale Earnhardt fan. He loved helping people and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother, Frank Huffman and his wife, Jean; a sister, Bessie Mae O'Kusky; his children, Joe Huffman of Belle Haven, VA, Pam Huffman of Windsor, VA, Danny Huffman and his wife, Lucy, of Parksley, VA, Christy Manzella of Melfa, VA, Paul Connon and his partner, Ashley, of Melfa; grandchildren, William Huffman, Brandon Smith, Benito Moreyra, Derek Moreyra, Ricky Huffman, Dakota Warf, Mark Connon, Cole Smith, Lucas Connon, and Emma Smith; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by six brothers, and two sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 12, 2015, at 3:00 PM at the Doughty Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Parks and Rev. Caleb Horne officiating. Interment will follow in Hollies Baptist Church Cemetery in Keller. A viewing will be held two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hollies Baptist Church, Post Office Box 7, Keller, VA 23401.
