Durando Miller III

Durando Miller, III, husband of the late Catherine Mapp Miller and a resident of Silver Beach, VA, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at his residence.   A native of Bedford, NY, he was the son of the late Durando Miller, Jr. and the late June Chaffee Miller. A retired Land Surveyor, Durando was a United States Navy Veteran, a member of Powellton Presbyterian Church, Past Master of Broadwater Lodge #71 AF&AM, currently serving as Worshipful Master of Capeville Lodge #107 AF&AM and a member of Central Lodge #300 AF&AM.

He is survived by his sister, Jean Hubbell of Falmouth, ME; a niece, Amanda Murray and her husband, Robert, and a nephew Tim Lackey and his wife, Heidi, all of ME.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted  at a later date at Doughty Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Moore officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Powelton Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 98, Wachapreague, VA 23480.
