Douglas Duane Kratochvil, 33, husband of Sheverron Lavone Kratochvil and a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA. Born in Baltimore, MD and reared in Eastville, VA, he was the son of Roy Louthian of Eastville and the late Nina Louthian. He was a truck driver for B & L Transport and member of Exmore Baptist Church. In addition to his father and wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mariah Kratochvil of Exmore, Selbie Kratochvil of Exmore; a mother-in-law, Julie Christian of Exmore; two sisters, Diana Louthian of Eastville, Bobbie Jo Hopkins of Baltimore; a brother, Kenneth Kratochvil of Raeford, NC; two nieces, Giovanna Lutz, Dawn Mears and a nephew, Dustin Mears. A graveside service will be conducted Friday, May 30, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Belle Haven Cemetery with Reverend Jonathan Carpenter officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Douglas Kratochvil Funeral Fund, c/o Doughty Funeral Home, P.O. Box 633, Exmore, VA 23350.
