Mrs. Dorothy Tatum Tyndall, 89, wife of the the late Pervis A. Tyndall and a resident of Onley, Va., fell asleep in death Monday, April 19, 2010 at Arcadia Nursing and Rehab Center in Nelsonia. Born in Willis Wharf, she was the daughter of the late Nathaniel James Tatum and Janie Ward Tatum. She was a homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother, and a devout member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Accomac. Mrs. Tyndall is survived by a daughter, Nancy T. Justis and her husband Ronnie of Locustville, Va.; a sister, Betty T. Sensenig and her husband Kenneth of Salisbury, Md.; grandchildren, John F. Ferebee Jr. and his wife Holly of Millsboro, De., A. J. Ferebee and his wife Michelle of Birdsnest, Janie F. Maedler and her husband Sean of Rehoboth Beach, De., Rhonda J. Montgomery and her husband Jason of Onley, and Robin J. Brady and her husband Mike of Locustville; 17 great-grandchildren, Cherie, Heather and Nikki Ferebee; Scott Ferebee and his wife Claire of Birdsnest; Rachel and Trent Ferebee; Gavin and Rylie Maedler; Cody Halliday, Lauren Juarez and her husband Jose of Onley; Haley, Madison, Logan and Baylee Montgomery; Ryan, Taylor, and Lacey Brady; and one great-great granddaughter, Keely May Juarez; one niece and five nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Dottie June Ferebee, a sister, Norma T. Long, a brother, Burleigh M. Tatum, and a foster brother, Thomas Borum. A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Fairview Lawn Cemetery in Onancock with Kenneth Sensenig and Steve Swinski officiating.
