Dorothy Kellam Rhodes

Mrs. Dorothy Kellam Rhodes, 80, wife of the late James E. Rhodes and a resident of Leonardtown, Maryland, formerly of Exmore, Virginia passed away Thursday, June 28, 2007 at St. Mary's Nursing Center, Leonardtown, Maryland. A native of Cape Charles, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd B. Kellam and the late Florence Manley Kellam. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. She is survived by a son, George M. Rhodes and his wife Nancy of Metairie, La., two daughters, Mary K. Lynch and her husband Michael of Houston, Tx., Patricia R. Lasome and her husband Michael of Callaway, Md., two brothers, Lloyd J. Kellam, Jr. and his wife Sue of Morley's Wharf, Va., George E. Kellam and his wife Shirley of Panama City Beach, Fla., and a sister, Barbara K. Morrell of Orland Park, Ill.; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be conducted Tuesday, July 3rd at 11:00 a.m. from the St. Charles Catholic Church in Cape Charles, Virginia with Father J. Michael Breslin officiating. Interment will follow in Cape Charles Cemetery. A Christian Wake service will be held Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. from the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore.
