Donnie Bramble Parks, 69, husband of Jean Mitchell Parks and a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. A native of Harborton, VA, he was the son of the late Howard B. Parks and the late Thelma Wood Parks. He was a school bus driver for Northampton County Public Schools, a retired contractor, member of Faith Baptist Church, member of Central Masonic Lodge #300 and Past Master of Ocean Masonic Lodge. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Laura Mae Tatum of Willis Wharf, VA, Justin Thomas Parks of Exmore, Andrew Burleigh Parks of Exmore; a sister, Cathy Love of North Augusta, SC; a brother, Joseph L. Parks and his wife, Betty, of Onley, VA; four grandchildren, Bruce Whiteside and his wife, Susanna, of Hampton, VA, Katilyn Parks of Exmore, Jase Parks of Exmore, Jayden Parks of Exmore; and two great grandchildren, Roan and Lucia Whiteside. Mr. Parks was predeceased by a grandson, Joshua Whiteside. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Belle Haven Cemetery with Reverend Robert Madron officiating.
