Donnie W. Barnes

Donnie W. Barnes, 75, husband of the late Betty Sue Barnes and a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Friday, November 11, 2011 at his residence. A native of Cashville, VA, he was the son of the late Hanson P. Barnes, Jr. and the late Gladys Hurst Barnes Russell. Mr. Barnes worked for Suburban Propane and always enjoyed helping people, visiting the residents of Heritage Hall and attending Sunday services there. He is survived by one daughter, Dottie L. Williams and her husband, Kevin, of Melfa, VA; two grandchildren, Kathryn L. Williams of Greenbush, VA, Jonathan B. Williams of Melfa; and one great- granddaughter, Lillian L. Lilliston of Greenbush. A graveside service will be conducted Monday, November 14, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Belle Haven Cemetery with Reverend Jack Pruitt officiating.
