Donald Edward Kellam

Donald Edward Kellam, 80, husband of the late Mary Richardson Kellam and a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Friday, February 27, 2009 at his residence. A native of Onley, he was the son of the late Brooks Edward Kellam and Eva Jane Belote Kellam. Mr. Kellam was a retired salesman for Smithfield Packing Company and a U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include three sons, Donald E. Kellam Jr. and his wife Susan of Exmore, Jerry L. Kellam and his wife Brandi of Birdsnest, and Terry L. Kellam of Belle Haven, VA; a sister, Gloria K. Fitchett of Onancock, VA., six grandchildren, Ryan, Ashley, Jason, Jordon, Cooper and Clay Kellam, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 8, 2009 at 2:00 PM from the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with the Rev. Jonathan Carpenter and Rev. Joe McKnight officiating.
