Donald James Huttner
March 16, 1947 — February 8, 2017
Donald James Huttner, 69, a resident of Melfa, VA, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Long Island, NY, he was the son of the late Alvin Huttner and the late Viola Monette Huttner. He was a sheet metal mechanic for Townsend Garage.
He is survived by three children, Amber Warner and her huband, Michael, of Port Jefferson Station, NY, Mark Huttner and his wife, Stephanie, of Stanley, NC, Ashleigh Brogan of Manhattan, NY; a brother Kenneth Huttner and his wife, Kate, of Manorville, NY; two grandchildren, Ian Warner, Kaia Warner, both of Port Jefferson Station; six nieces and nephews, Kenneth, Kevin, Patty, Kim, J.J. and Kristi. Other than his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, John Huttner.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 11, 2017, at 7:00 PM at Doughty Funeral Home with Mr. Barry Downing officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 870 Greenbrier Circle, Greenbrier Tower II, Suite 404, Chesapeake, VA 23320.
