Mr. Donald G. Hall, 79, husband of Mary Elizabeth Murphy Hall and a resident of Quinby, passed away at his residence Monday, May 15, 2006. A native of Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Clarence Hall and the late Anna Brown Hall. He retired from the Norfolk Naval Ship Yard and was a United States Navy Veteran. He was a 1972 Past Master and Member of Mizpah-Haddon Heights Masonic Lodge # 1919 AF&AM, member of the V.F.W and the Portsmouth Moose Lodge. Other than his wife, he is survived by two sons, Donald G. Hall, Jr. and his wife Janet of Monroeville, N.J., Lawrence Thomas Hall of Lenexa, Kan.; three daughters, Betty H. Marguglio and her husband Edward of Quinby, Va., Robin Hall Cook and her husband Gary of Ottawa, Kan., Kathleen H. Stinet and her husband Dana of Alaska; a sister, Patricia Woodring of Monroeville, Pa.; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Dale Maurice Hall and a sister, Dorothy Hall Milne. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 20, 2006 at 1:00 PM from the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with the Rev. Jack D. Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow in the Quinby Cemetery with Masonic Rites. Family will join friends one hour prior to the service.
