David Thomas DeCarlo, Sr., 67, husband of Michelle Marie DeCarlo and a resident of Nassawadox, VA, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA. A native of New Jersey, he was the son of the late Edward Thomas DeCarlo and the late Lorraine Carroll DeCarlo. He was a carpenter, an avid fisherman, hunter, gun collector and aviation enthusiast. Other than his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Dawn Renee Lewis and her husband, Ken, of Cheriton, VA; four sons, David Thomas DeCarlo, Jr. and his wife, Kara, of Jamesville, VA, Richard Thomas DeCarlo and his companion, Hope Evans, of Cheriton, Scott Brian DeCarlo and his wife, Shannon, of Belle Haven, VA, Bryan Edward DeCarlo of Weirwood; a sister, Deborah Fedowitz and her husband, Martin, of Woodbridge, NJ; six grandchildren, Craig DeCarlo, Marissa DeCarlo, Nick Lewis, Mackenzie Lewis, Matthew DeCarlo, Alura DeCarlo; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Danny DeCarlo. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
