Darlene Parker Brady

Catherine Darlene Parker Brady, 60, a resident of Nassawadox, passed away at Shore Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, April 18, 2007. A native of Oyster, VA, she is the daughter of Virginia Pearl Brady Parker of Cape Charles and the late William S. "Digger" Parker. She is survived by three children, Edward Spencer Brady of Nassawadox, Bonnie Lee Brady Merritt and her husband, Elton, of Cheriton, and Ronnie Lee Brady of Covington, VA; three brothers, Alvin "Buddy" Parker and his wife, Lillie of Cape Charles, Wayne "Slick" Parker and his wife, Patricia, of Clayton, DE, and Douglas "Dougie" Parker and his wife, Maxine, of Eastville; six grandchildren, Elton,III and Logan Merritt, Steven, Stephanie and Shane Wood, and Kelly Mears; and one great grandchild, Makaylah Mears. She was predeceased by two brothers, William Spencer Parker, Jr. and Randall Lee Parker and one granddaughter, Catherine Meranda Merritt. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:30 PM from the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Cheriton with Pastor Joe Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Cape Charles Cemetery.
