Daniel Lee Marshall

Daniel Lee Marshall, 77, husband of the late Orma Jean Marshall and a resident of Townsend, VA, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2012. A native of Hog Island, VA, he was the son of the late Navelle Thomas Marshall and the late Fairy Stevens Marshall. Mr. Marshall was retired from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel District and a barber. He also worked for the VA Ferry Corporation. He was a member of the Capeville United Methodist Church, Capeville Masonic Lodge 107 AF&AM and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He is survived by three daughters, Vickie L. Dereng and her husband David of Onley, VA, Cynthia A. Heath and her husband, Billy of Townsend, Patricia M. Scott and her husband, H.H., Jr. of Townsend; two brothers, Edwin T. Marshall and his wife Nancy of Willis Wharf, VA and James T. Marshall, six grandchildren, Amanda, Melissa, Keron, Bill, Sarah, Howard; five great- grandchildren, Isabella, D.J., Taylor, Willis, and Landon. A graveside service with Masonic Rites will be held Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at 11:00 AM at Capeville Masonic Cemetery with Reverend Elizabeth A Lutz officiating. Family will join friends Monday evening from 6 to 7 PM at Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Capeville United Methodist Church, c/o H.H.
