Cynthia Brooks

Cynthia Krause Brooks, 67, wife of Lloyd Yeager and a resident of York, PA, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Towson, MD. A native of Elmira, NY, she was the daughter of the late William Krause and the late Shirley Williams Krause.  A homemaker, Cynthia was a member of the Evangelical Congregational Church.

She is survived by three sons, Howard Edward Brooks, III of Elmira, James Brooks and his wife, Nancy, of Johnstown, CO, and Andrew Brooks and his wife, Michelle, of Baltimore, MD; three step-children, Sam Yeager, Lisa Lashley, and Dan Yeager; one brother, Bill Krause and his wife, Tina, of Elmira; one sister, Diana Simons of Elmira; and three grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Reverend Dr. Howard Edward Brooks, Jr.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Bethesda Reedsville Evangelical Congregational Church, 155 Reedsville Road, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972.

Graveside services will be held, Monday, July 26, 2021, at 11:00AM, at Cape Charles Cemetery with Reverend Paul Sherwood officiating.  Relatives and friends may call Monday, 9:00AM to 10:00AM at Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home, Cape Charles. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, Post Office Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803-0163.
