Constance Downing Corbin Keech departed this life October 04, 2014. She was born in Birdsnest, VA, the daughter of James William and Dorothy Ann Higbee Downing and grew up on Myrtle Grove Farm. She first married Dale H. Corbin in 1950 and second married William Dexter Keech in 1968. After marriage she lived most of her life in Chesapeake, VA. She is survived by a son, James Stephen Corbin & grandson Teddy and granddaughter, Tracy C. Quint & great-grandchildren, Clatyon R., 3rd &Sarah Lynn. Daughter, Ris C. Carroll & granddaughter, Kelly. Daughter, Sandra C. Perkins and son-in-law John. Grandson, Matthew Ray Perkins & great-grandson, Philip, & great-great grandson Kayden, and granddaughters, Lauren and Rebecca. Grandson, Daniel Perkins & great-granddaughters, Hailey and Danielle. Grandson Allan Perkins & great-granddaughter Nicholle. Daughter, Andrea Eve C. Robertson & son-in-law James. Granddaughter, Raven Spruill & great-grandchildren Aarrionna & R.J., grandsons Wesley Spruill & great-grandson Dylan and Jamie Spruill & great-grandsons Lance & Brock. Daughter, Irene K. Brown & son-in-law Joseph, and grandsons Andrew & Caleb. Daughter, Jenifer Gwen Keech. She was predeceased by a son Anthony Dale Corbin. She is survived by his daughter Catherine Corbin & great-grandchildren, Anthony, Robert, Jonathan & Tiffany. She is also survived by three sisters, Gwen D. Riggin, Delores "Bill" D. Bott & Ada Faye D. Wilson, several nieces and a nephew, many cousins and extended family. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at Eastminster Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall, 3229 MacDonald Road, Virginia Beach, VA. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore, VA with Reverend Jonathan Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in Red Bank Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will join friends one hour prior to the service.
