Claribel Kelly Hargis

Claribel Kelly Hargis, 89, wife of the late Paul Eugene Hargis and a resident of Concord Wharf, VA, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Jamesville, VA, she was the daughter of the late Edward William Kelly and the late Brazora Turner Kelly. Mrs. Hargis was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church and was the former owner of Flora Dawn Florist. Survivors include two grandchildren, Jimmy Hargis and wife, Nancy, of Concord Wharf, VA and Ann H. Lewis and husband, Timothy, of Birdsnest, VA; two great- grandchildren, C. J. Hargis and Jacob Paul Lewis; a daughter-in-law, Dora Hargis. Mrs. Hargis was predeceased by a daughter, Merilyn Hargis and a son, Paul Kelly Hargis. Funeral services will be held graveside at the Belle Haven Cemetery, Monday, January 2, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Mr. Kemmie Dize officiating.
