Cindie Bott Gaskill, 66, wife of Richard M. Gaskill, III and a resident of Painter, VA, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018, at her residence. A native of Painter, Mrs. Gaskill was the daughter of Dolores Downing Bott of Silver Beach, VA, and the late Fenton R. Bott, Jr. Mrs. Gaskill was a member of the Craddockville United Methodist Church.
In addition to her loving husband, Mrs. Gaskill is survived by two sons, David R. Drummond and his wife, Sandy, of Belle Haven, VA, and Raymond Earl Drummond and wife, Beverly, of Pungoteague, VA; three grandchildren, Trevor Drummond, Brian Drummond, and Nicholas Drummond; two sisters, Dottie Bott Travis of Painter and Kyna B. Moore and her husband, Andy, of Scottsville, VA; niece, Kristen Travis of Painter; nephews, Justin Travis of Smith Beach, VA, Michael Moore and his wife, Hannah, of Charlottesville, VA, and Matthew Moore and his wife, Ann, of Richmond, VA; great niece and nephew, Brynna and Blaine Travis of Painter; and a daughter-in-law, Kelley Gaskill of Jamesville, VA. Mrs. Gaskill was predeceased by a sister, Carol Ann Bott and a stepson, Richard M. Gaskill, IV.
A celebration of life service will be conducted Monday, April 30, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Doughty Funeral Home with Reverends Rob Kelly and Tommy Kellam officiating.
