Christopher Carlton Mears III

Christopher Carlton Mears III, better known as Kit, 65, a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Exmore, he was the son of the late C.C. Mears, Jr. and the late Nedra Newell Mears. Mr. Mears was a retired electronics technician at NASA-Wallops. He is survived by two children, Rebecca Bloxom and her husband, William, of Hallwood, VA, Tracy Mears of Bossier City, LA; five grandchildren, Courtney Bloxom, Ashlin Bloxom, Joshua Bloxom, Elle Mears and Jule Mears. A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Belle Haven Cemetery with Pastor Bobby Carroll Huether officiating.
