Chester E. Moore, Sr.

Chester Ervin Moore, Sr., 82, husband of the late Dorothy Mae Moore and a resident of Cheriton, VA, passed away Monday, September 22, 2008 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. A native of Eastville,VA, Mr. Moore was the son of the late Otis Moore, Sr. and the late Edna M. Moore. Mr. Moore was retired from K.M.C. Foods and was a member of Cheriton Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Chester E. Moore, Jr and his wife Margie, a grandson, Tommy Moore and his wife Beth, and a great granddaughter, Kaelynn Mae Moore, all of Eastville. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 25, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the graveside of Eastville Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Charles Peterson officiating. Family will join friends Wednesday evening from 7 to 8:30 pm in Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
