Cheryl Tapman Hopkins

Mrs. Cheryl Tapman Hopkins, 38, wife of James B. Hopkins and a resident of Cheriton, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at her residence. A native of Cape Charles, she was the daughter of the late Ronnie Tapman and Barbara Williams of Onancock, Va. She was formerly employed by Shore Memorial Hospital and worked in the billing department. She was a member of Capeville United Methodist Church. Other than her husband and mother, she is survived by two sons, Ryan Taylor and Andrew Wayne Spencer of Capeville, Va., three sisters, Brandy Williams of Texas, Stephanie Stoeckert of Exmore, and Tammi Tapman of Texas. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, November 23, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with the Rev. DeWayne Duncan officiating.
