Charlotte M. Rand

Charlotte, a long time resident of Cheshire, died September 27, 2006 in Painter, VA after a long illness. She was born March 12, 1917 in Orange MA to George and Marion Milliken. She was married to the late Charles A. Rand. They had two children, Elizabeth Rand Kittler, who preceded her in death, and a son Charles E. Rand of Painter, VA. She leaves eleven grandchildren, several great-grand children, and several great great-grandchildren. She was active in the Franklin Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star in North Adams, the Mildred Stevens Chapter of the Eastern Star on the Eastern Shore of VA, the Cheshire Reading Club, the Emmaus Community of the Eastern Shore (VA), a member of the Hollies Baptist Church, and attended Painter-Garrison United Methodist Church in Painter, VA. A memorial service will be held October 16, 2006 at 7:00 PM from the Painter-Garrison United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Boy Scouts of America, Delmarva Council, 801 N. Washington, St., Wilmington, DE 19801-1597 or to the Hospice of the Eastern Shore, P.O.
