Charles W. Miles, Jr.

Charles Wilbur Miles, Jr., 62, a resident of Quinton, VA, went to be with the Lord Monday, August 18, 2014. He was born on the Eastern Shore of Virginia and grew up in Newport News and later resided in Winchester and New Kent County. Charles was the beloved son of Charles W. Miles, Sr. and Rita Russell Miles of Newport News. He attended Atlantic Christian College and Virginia Tech. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Wayne R. Miles and his wife, Donna, of Quinton; two sisters, Lita Lyn Suttle and her husband, Gary, of Newport News, Elaine Jeanné Yeatman and her husband, Steve, of Gaithersburg, MD; nine nieces and nephews, Miles, Jessie, and Lita Elaine Suttle, Cole and Charlie Miles, Timothy, Kyle, Rachel, and Wesley Yeatman. A graveside service will be conducted at the Belle Haven Cemetery Friday, August 22, 2014, at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jack D. Pruitt officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Animal Aid Society, 80 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, VA 23666.
