Cecil Theodore Lewis, Jr.

Cecil Theodore "CT" Lewis, Jr., 67, husband of Carolyn Hope Lewis and a resident of Machipongo, VA, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2010 at MCV Hospital in Richmond. A native of Johnsontown, VA, he is the son of Delma V. Lewis of Cape Charles and the late Cecil T. Lewis, Sr. He was a delivery route driver for Snyders, Wise and Herrs. After retirement he worked for Food Lion. Other than his wife and mother, he is survived by a son, Ted Lewis and his wife Sue of Virginia Beach, VA; three step-children, Marshall Cox, Jr. of Eastville, VA, Laura Robbins of Exmore, VA, and Robin Mears and her husband Wayne of Birdsnest, VA; a sister, Delores Carstens and her companion David Thornes of Cheriton, VA; four grandchildren, Chelsea Defrees, Addison and Luke Mears, Jennifer Howard. A service of remembrance will be held at the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore Sunday, June 13, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with the Pastor Russell Goodrich officiating.
