Catherine Mapp Hall

Catherine Mapp Hall, 85, of Cheriton, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital. A native of Bridgetown, VA, she was the daughter of the late Richard B. Mapp, Sr. and the late Maude Andrews Mapp. Mrs. Hall was retired from the Gregg-Harriet Shirt Company in Exmore and was a member of the Cheriton Baptist Church. Mrs. Hall is survived by a son, Billy Hall and his wife, Barbara, of Oyster, VA; two grandchildren, Billie Jean Orsinger of Machipongo, and Crystal R. Miles of Seaford, DE; one great-granddaughter, Alexis LeAnn Miles of Seaford, DE. Mrs. Mapp was predeceased by two sons, James Thomas Hall and George Edward Hall. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home in Cape Charles with Dr. Charles Peterson officiating. Interment will follow in the Cape Charles Cemetery. Family will join friends one hour prior to the service.
