Catherine Guy Belote

Catherine Guy Belote, 54, of Craddockville, VA, passed away Friday, December 9, 2011 at her residence. A native of Craddockville, she is the daughter of Lorraine Best Guy of Nassawadox, VA and the late Ernest Ward Guy. Ms. Belote was a secretary at Northampton County Health Department, a member and deaconess of the Pungoteague Community Church. Other than her mother, survivors include a daughter, Danielle Ann Parks of Pocomoke City, MD; four grandchildren, Cora Elizabeth Parks, Christopher Ward Parks, Caitlin Annie Parks, Chelsea Renea Parks, all of Pocomoke; and a brother, Dennis Ward Guy of Craddockville. A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Pungoteague Community Church with Pastor Bobby Carroll Huether officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Pungoteague Community Church Food Pantry, Post Office Box 3, Pungoteague, VA 23422.
