Mrs. Carrie Russell Parks, 92, wife of the late William K. Parks and a resident of Belle Haven, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2005 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Nassawadox. Mrs. Parks a native of Tangier was the daughter of the late John Ross Parks and the late Charlotte P. Parks. She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church in Exmore. Mrs. Parks is survived by two sons, Jackie R. Parks and wife LaVerne of Belle Haven, Va., Robert F. Parks of Sarosatoa, Fla.; one sister, Rose R. Arvay of Atlanta, Ga.; six grandchildren, Tim Parks and wife Debra of Washington, N.C., Jeff Parks of Exmore, Va., Anita Russell and husband Tom of Melfa, Va., Robert David Parks of Rincon, Ga., Robert K. Parks, Jr. of Korea, Daniel Parks and wife Shannon of Maine; eleven great grandchildren, Jennifer Ferrara and husband Angelo, Stephanie Russell, Carrie Russell, Diane Parks, Anita P. Clayton and husband Bruce, Samantha Parks, Robbie Parks, Hunter Parks, Logan Parks, Gina Parks, Derek Jones; one great great granddaughter, Alyssa Ferrara. Funeral services for Mrs. Parks will be conducted Saturday, May 14, 2005 at 2:00 PM from the Maranatha Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Muender and Mr. Kemmie Dize officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Haven Cemetery. Family will join friends one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Hospice of the Eastern Shore, P.O.
