Carol Ann Richards

Mrs. Carol Ann Richards, 64, wife of Bruce Wayne Richards and a resident of Cape Charles, Virginia died, Friday, September 16, 2005 at her residence. A native of Northampton, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Harold Reynolds and Hazel Greenough Reynolds. She was a Supervisor for the Adult Education Program of Fairfax County Public Schools. Carol is survived by her husband and mother, as well as a daughter, Kelly Richards Shafer and her husband Matt. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter, and friend. A mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at 11:00 AM at the St. Charles Catholic Church with Father J. Michael Breslin officiating. Interment will follow in Cape Charles Cemetery. A Christian Wake Service will be held Tuesday evening at 7 PM at the St. Charles Catholic Church. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to St. Charles Catholic Church, 545 Randolph Ave., Cape Charles, Va. 23310. Arrangements made by Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home, Cape Charles.
